Yaara

I have been inspired by alternative treatments since a young age following a recovery from a serious illness. Since then was drawn to exploring the field of holistic therapies.

I am a licensed Acupuncturist (LicAc 2014). I also practice Reflexology (2004), Holistic Massage (2005) and Hot Stones therapy (2009), and I have a wide range of experience treating people from around the world.

While all the above techniques may help an assist in bringing the body and mind into balance, I also use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) – by tapping on specific points in the body while addressing specific problems such as (but not limited to) anxiety, phobias, physical and emotional pain and stress.

Holistic Massage and Reflexology – I integrate the techniques learned in the many therapies I practised by working with the meridians to move blocked energy, which can be successful in treating both physical and emotional challenges.

Acupuncture originates from China and has been used to aid healing for thousands of years. According to Chinese medical theory, acupuncture points are located on meridians (energy channels) through which Qi (vital energy) flows. The practice involves the insertion of thin needles at strategic points on the body. It is an extremely relaxing form of treatment known for it’s deep and long-lasting effect on physical and mental well-being.

Prior to treatment, a detailed consultation takes place including the reading of the patients pulse and tongue, and a diagnosis specific to each individual is made.
